Asian comedy rarely if ever translates well to western culture, but this film is a rare exception. When four young street thugs decide to rob a gas station out of boredom, they are disappointed to find that there is very little cash in the register. Instead of leaving, they take the manager and employees hostage while they try and find more money. In the following few hours they come into conflict with local gang, force their hostages to sing and stage fights, extort customers passing through and more. While definitely not the best film due to its out of bizarre placement of sentimental flashbacks, it is too often overlooked. On the other hand, feel free to skip the sequel.
